Tiger Woods Love Triangle and Money Game, Rachel Uchitel, Elin Nordegren

TIGER WOODS'S carefully crafted public image continues to crumble with further evidence that his minders paid alleged lover Rachel Uchitel to fly business class to Melbourne last month.

Team Tiger is also believed to have paid for the silence of Ms Uchitel, who was poised to release intimate details of their trysts in Melbourne and New York at a press conference cancelled at the last minute.

And Woods is understood to be in negotiations with his wife Elin Nordegren, with claims he offered the former Swedish model $5 million to ride out the storm and a further $80 million if they remain married until 2016.

A close friend of Ms Uchitel's confirmed she had been offered a seven-figure payment by the Woods camp. The source said she was unlikely to settle for less than $5 million, because she could make a similar amount from a book deal or exclusive interview.

Her friend said she was enjoying the international media attention and was in Los Angeles negotiating a deal with the help of celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred.

Yesterday, celebrity website TMZ obtained a copy of Ms Uchitel's recent itinerary to Melbourne, which included a business-class Qantas flight that landed on November 12 and similar tickets on an Emirates flight that departed on November 15. The tickets were paid for by Byron Bell, president of Tiger Woods Design, which seems to contradict her denial that she met the golfing great in Melbourne. ''I was down in Australia with friends … and had nothing to do with Tiger Woods,'' Ms Uchitel told the New York Post.

For a sporting star with an aversion to publicity and a reputation for decency and discipline, Woods has had a shocking week. What initially seemed an innocuous car crash triggered a chain of events that saw his gilded world on the brink of collapse.

The die seemed cast in a Vegas nightclub almost three years ago, when Woods allegedly consorted with cocktail waitresses Jaimee Grubbs and Kalika Moquin. But attempts by his camp to kill off, or at least control the controversy, have only compounded the mess.

It took 13 hours for the world's greatest golfer to confirm he was involved in a ''minor accident'', providing the first hint of scandal.

After more than two days of intense media scrutiny and allegations of infidelity, Woods finally conceded he was ''far short of perfect'' and pleaded on his website for privacy.

As other women accepted money for their Tiger tales, another attempt to suppress his infidelity was exposed. Almost two years ago, his minders offered an exclusive cover to Men's Fitness magazine on the condition that its sister publication, the National Enquirer, bury a story on his nocturnal transgressions, a former editor said.

While sponsors have rallied around Woods, sports marketers say his corporate identity has been seriously tarnished. But they predicted Woods's empire would survive the tumult.

Ranbir Kapoor Price, Pay 12 Crore to sign Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor, the busiest actor in the industry at present, might soon overtake the ‘Khans’

According to the reports, film makers are ready to pay any amount of money to the star to get him into their projects as he has created a spark in the young hearts throughout the country.

There is also news in the B-town that director Imtiaz Ali has signed Ranbir Kapoor for a whopping amount of Rs 12 crore.

The movie will be produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, and is planned to release early next year.

Ranbir Kapoor is already in the top five pay bracket in the Hindi film industry, and his price comes just after Akshay Kumar.

Considering perfectionist Aamir and King Khan take a share of the profit they don’t have such high signing costs and Salman Khan’s box office success has spoiled his earningses. Ranbir is exceeding himself with every new release.

Ranbir Kapoor has begun his Bollywood journey with Rs 50 lakhs for Saawariya then Rs 5 crore for Bachna Ae Haseeno. He was paid Rs 8 crore for Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Paa Friday Box Office Collection Report, Dec 05,2009

Paa collects around 3.25 Crore on its opening day which is good considering limited release(500+ screens and fewer shows), Movie picked up again on Saturday with occupancy range from 60% to 80% and even 100% at places, Saturday collections should be better and looking at advances, Sunday will be best. Single screens are suggesting poor shows all over(However there is minimal single screen release).

Ranbir and Deepika's relationship status

Ranbir and Deepika's relationship status is indeed complicated! The couple, who has been together for nearly two years, are currently going through what Ranbir describes as a rough patch.

Everyone was expecting sparks to fly between Ranbir and Priyanka Chopra as the stars were recently shooting in Bangkok. However, sources told a daily, “Ranbir was too much into his own space to even notice his glamourous co-star. He spent most of his time, when not shooting, either at the gym or taking walks and visiting malls.”

Will they get back together? "I hope so," said Ranbir with a smile. We hope this gives Deepika some respite who is reportedly feeling miserable without Ranbir.

Hrithik Roshans monologue in Guzaarish

Hrithik Roshan the most successful among the Roshan clan is all set to astounded people with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish. The news is that this very talented actor who is perfectionist personified was given a five-and-a-half minute-long monologue. It is too long a monologue for an artist and at times it becomes very difficult to memorize it. But here comes the appraisal and a comment which every actor dreams of getting it.

Bhansali had been broken up into three parts to ease the pressure on Hrithik and what was seen was the most remarkable asset an actor can have. He did not stop and delivered the entire monologue in one fluid take. This amazed not only the entire crew, but the director as well. The monologue has Hrithik remembering a woman from his past, before he becomes wheelchair bound. The intensity stunned everyone on the sets, as it was obvious that Hrithik had worked hard to memorize the part and rehearse it before reaching the sets. Bhansali walked up to the actor and said, ‘What can I say?’. Hrithik thought that the director will be asking him for a retake but he said to Hrithik, ‘You are in Bachchan’s league.’ Remember Amitabh Bachchan’s monologue in the climax of Baghban?

He use to stammer once but the hard work and the grit he put up to overcome it is known to many. It is indeed a very big complement. His body language, his diction, his expressions, his overall persona deserves great praise. Great going Hrithik. Your fans are desperately waiting to see you in Kites and Guzaarish. So please fulfill their Guzaarish and set the screen on blaze with your acting.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra talks about 3 Idiots

Vidhu Vinod Chopra (53) completely but he is certainly more tolerant and accommodating than ever before.

In keeping with his wife’s directive to not praise himself or belittle others, he stays within accepted social barriers all through our chat, restricting all caustic comments and pithy observations for when the mike is switched off .

• You don’t have too many friends? Why?
I value friendship. For me friendship is not a loose word. If I call myself a friend, I am ready to give my life and if need be the friend should do the same. That Bambaiya friendship where people call you a friend on your face and as soon as you turn around they call you a bi*** or a swine is not friendship. I told Karan Johar, ‘I want friends like you; I want to throw a party.’ He said, ‘I can make you social,’ he tried and then he gave up. He told me nicely, ‘You are happy where you are.’ I have only four friends now, I started with two. Rakesh Maria, Rajesh Parekh (and Firoza Parekh) and slowly I acquired the third friend, Amitabh Jhunjhunwala, but now, I am not sure, I am perhaps acquiring a fourth, which is Aamir. So my house is full now. I mean if I have four friends in this city, I am the luckiest. I now get invited to social dos. We get wedding invitations, we get party invitations. We are invited to places we have never been invited to before.

• What do you expect the audience will take away from 3 Idiots?
I could be wrong, but I personally believe that 3 Idiots is a step ahead of Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The other day there was a story in the paper of a kid who had jumped off the 19th floor when her mother was in another room and I told my wife that if this kid had seen 3 Idiots, she wouldn’t have jumped. I genuinely feel that if I had released this film a month ago, I could have saved that one life. I think 3 Idiots will save lives.

• Between Aamir Khan, you and Raju Hirani, if there is a clash of opinion, who wins?
We are very clear about this. Raju is head of creatives. At the moment, Aamir is head of marketing. There is no clash. But as head of the family I believe I have a veto and if I really want to use it, I can. I think the three of us are really the perfect 3 Idiots. I had heard horror stories about Aamir and he had heard the same about me but Aamir is the most unbelievable guy I have met in my life unless I am a fool, and he is performing all the time. I have only nice things to say about Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan but Aamir is something else. His level of commitment, his level of dedication, his level of affection, his level of seeking excellence is exceptional.

• Have you forgiven Shah Rukh Khan for trying to woo away Raju Hirani?
Oh totally. I called him yesterday to invite him for my premiere and we chatted for half an hour. Life is too short for all this s**t! Khalil Gibran has said, ‘I use hate as a weapon to defend myself.’ To me hate and love are both very strong emotions. I love my wife and if I have the same degree of negative feeling for anybody, then I am giving that person the same importance as I am giving to the woman I love the most in my life. How ridiculous is that?

• You famously said your films reflect the mood you are in. Given the comedies your production house is bringing out like the Munnabhai series, do we conclude you are in a good mood?
Yes, I am in a very happy mood. I sing songs all the time. I think life is really kind to me and I am just very grateful. My little daughter writes poetry which I don’t understand and my son plays cricket with Sachin Tendulkar’s son. God has given me a movie like 3 Idiots, friends and two families, one in cinema and the other at home. I came to this city to make one Hindi movie. If I had died after making one feature film after coming from the village that I came from, I would have died happily.

• Are there any actors you can’t conceive of working with for any reason?
The list is long but to tell you honestly it isn’t about individual actors. It is about attitude. I will not work with actors who have the wrong attitude at this given moment. On the other hand if there is an attitude change, I would willingly work with them.

• What is delaying Munna Bhai Chale Amrika?
If after Lage Raho Munna Bhai we had churned out a Munna Bhai film a year, it would have made Rs 200-250 crores and even if they had been s**t, people would go and see them. But we didn’t and won’t till we are happy with the script. Now we are happy with what we have written and so hopefully we will do it next year.

• Is it tougher to write an original screenplay or adapt a book?
To tell you the truth, I haven’t read Five Point Someone on which 3 Idiots is based. The only person in the team who read it was Raju. But I believe our film is very different. Having said that, the starting point was Raju reading the book.

• If you were given the choice to remake a film with the intention of improving it, which film would that be?
Ram Aur Shyam with Aamir Khan. I love that film and now that I am an admirer of Aamir, I would love to make that film with him. I don’t think he can do it better than Dilip Kumar, who was absolutely superb, but it would be a challenge for Aamir and me.

Jaimee Grubbs Tiger Woods Affair, Jaimee Grubbs Sex Stories

One of Tiger Woods' lovers has rated him "horrible in bed", it has emerged. Cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, who claims she had a 31-month fling with the married golf superstar, apparently told fellow contestants on US TV reality show Tool Academy she had also "hooked up" with George Clooney.

Paa Movie Review Rating By Taran Adarsh

Can you ever imagine watching an Amitabh Bachchan film and not watching Amitabh Bachchan in it? Seems impossible, isn't it? The towering persona and the rich baritone just cannot be overlooked. But R. Balki transforms the legendary actor into Auro, replaces the rich baritone with the voice of an adolescent [who's neither grown up, nor a kid] and taps the hitherto untapped talent of the icon.

Trust me, 10 minutes into the film and you forget you're watching Amitabh Bachchan. For, Auro takes over the moment he is introduced to the viewer.

PAA is a simple film told in the most simplistic manner and that's one of the prime reasons why this film works big time. The emotions would've fallen flat had the writing been sub-standard or the execution of the material been humdrum or the actors been inferior. But, thankfully, PAA scores in all three departments, although it must be said that the entire slum redevelopment episode is a complete put-off.

Yet, all said and done, PAA is an outstanding film. A film for every paa, every maa... for everyone with a heart. Take a bow, Auro!

Auro [Amitabh Bachchan] is an intelligent, witty 13-year-old boy with an extremely rare genetic defect that causes accelerated ageing. He suffers from progeria. Mentally, he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks five times older.

Inspite of his condition, Auro is a happy boy. He lives with his mother Vidya [Vidya Balan], a gynaecologist, but is completely clueless of his father's identity. Till he meets him, Amol [Abhishek Bachchan], who is a full of ideals politician.

Okay, let's not disrespect Balki by calling PAA a rip-off of THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON or JACK. It's not! PAA looks at the varied relationships so minutely. It may've been publicized as a father-son film, but the women - mother and granny - play equally pivotal parts.

The first hour of PAA grips you in patches. The introduction of Auro is brilliant, but the moment the story focuses on the politician and his arch rival's sub-plot, it goes off-track. Sure, there are some interesting sequences, but the impact isn't mesmeric.

But the post-interval portions take the film to dizzy heights and camouflages the defects. The father-son bonding and the penultimate 25 minutes raise the bar. The emotional quotient is tremendous. Get ready to overhear a lot of sniffs and see a lot of moist eyes once the lights are switched on.

Note the two sequences in the climax, when Auro reveals what his father's first mistake was and the pheras towards the end. Also recall the scene when the girl Auro detests for a certain reason shows up with a sketch of Auro. It moves you completely.

But let's not mistaken PAA to be a rona-dhona movie. It's a positive film with funny/light moments in plenty. The conversation between Auro and his best friend, on various occasions, are superb. Also, not once does PAA show Auro as 'different'. He's one among the kids and there's no discrimination whatsoever, which is remarkable.

Director R. Balki deserves a salute for thinking out of the box and also presenting Amitabh Bachchan like never before. The writing may be erratic, but his handling of the emotional moments is exemplary. Note this, he would be a force to reckon with after PAA. Ilaiyaraaja's music is soothing. P.C. Sreeram's cinematography is incredible.

It would be a blunder if one missed out the contribution of the makeup artists. Transforming the veteran actor into a kid must've been an arduous task and Christien Tinsley and Domini Till deserve to be complimented for making Auro look so real.

Now to the performances! No amount of praise, no amount of adjectives and personifications would do justice to Amitabh Bachchan's performance as Auro. Sure, the icon has enthralled us with superlative performances in his four-decade career, but PAA is something else. The icon keeps surprising you at regular intervals and PAA is one of those beautiful surprises, which will remain etched in your memory forever.

That doesn't mean that the remaining performances get dwarfed by Auro. Sure, PAA belongs to Auro, but not once does Abhishek Bachchan dither from his position or seems less inferior. This is the hallmark of a tremendous actor, which Abhishek is. Vidya is another surprise of PAA. She takes giant strides as an actor and proves yet again that given the right roles, she can match up to the best in the business.

Paresh Rawal is effective. Arundhati Naag is amazing. So is the kid, Pratik, enacting the role of Auro's best buddy. His telephonic conversation with Auro is superb. Jaya Bachchan's presence is lovely.

Rating : 2.75 Star

Paa Movie Review, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan

The ageing disorder and Amitabh Bachchan's look in Paa have been compared to Robin Willams' Jack and Brad Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. But those superficial similarities aside, Paa is a completely different story.

Aspiring politician Amol and medical student Vidya have a child out of wedlock. Not wanting to hamper his political future, Amol asks Vidya to abort the baby. Vidya however breaks all ties with Amol and gives birth to Auro – a progeria patient whose physical appearance looks five times older than his mental age.

Years later, Auro and Amol come face-to-face and develop an instant rapport. Now Amol's past threatens to destroy his dream run in politics. Meanwhile Vidya is caught between her hatred for Amol and Auro's journey towards discovering his long lost father.

As a plot, Paa is inherently Bollywood with subtle influences of Shekhar Kapoor's Masoom, Mahesh Bhatt's Kaash and Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par. But what works for this film are the impressive performances and director R Balakrishnan's treatment. Balki doesn't go for an excessively melodramatic approach keeping the flow lighthearted. While this robs off some depth and your heart doesn't go all out for the characters, there are several other highs. The flow is rather charming and funny.

Save for a slightly filmy climax, the makers avoid melodramatic high-voltage sequences. Having a father-son bond over webchat is certainly a refreshing break from the stereotype.

The only downer is a long sub-plot depicting Ahishek's political ambition. Modelled on India's young breed of newly elected suave MPs, it adds nothing to the movie's core theme. Scenes about slum rehab and media bashing would have been better suited for the Sarkar franchise.

Much like his Cheeni Kum, Paa too is laced with witty one liners. Ad-man Balki clearly has his own style and grammar that oozes attitude and sarcasm. Balki is a rare filmmaker who doesn't depict Bollywood children as artificially innocent dimwits. If you remember the young girl from Cheeni Kum, this time too he shows the kids as sometimes rude but smart, outspoken, brats.

In an author-backed role, Amitabh Bachchan masters the body language and behaviour of a special child. Auro is high on self-confidence and his disorder is not projected with a sense of pity. Though his new look takes a while to sink in, the dialogue delivery has the trademark energy of an Amitabh Bachchan act. His individual sequences with Abhishek and Vidya have a bitter-sweet tone that's picked up brilliantly by the legend.

Vidya Balan's part is a bit sketchy, as both her love and anger towards Amol are never quite clear. But she has a natural comfort with deglam mature roles and excels beyond the script. Abhishek Bachchan throws in a confident performance as Auro's Paa. Playing a character that could have easily been sidelined and one that has no sympathy value attached to it, Bachchan Jr rises to the challenge. The scene where he finds out Auro's true identity is one of his best in a long time.

Don't miss the innovative opening titles, which set the pace for the film's straight-out-of-life narrative. Paa might fall short of greatness but has a positive, feel good graph that stays with you for long.

Verdict: Far from being boring or heavy on the senses, this is a simple film for the entire family. Take your Maa and Paa along and you wont regret it.

De Dana Dan Box Office Update

De Dana Dan Update 04-12-2009 : did good business in range of 31 crore with advantage of single screen contribution more than multiplexes, this will lead to better distribution share of around 20 Crore. Movie is safe proposition at box-office, second week opening suffers a lot due to Paa euphoria at multiplex. DDD opens to very poor response today at metros with mere 20% response. But single screens should contribute good amount

At box-office, De Dana Dan collects 27.5 Crore in five days, Weekdays saw horrible fall at multiplexes (80%), However fall was bit less at interiors, leads to 5.5 Crore combined on Monday and Tuesday. Now movie is all set for 30+ Crore first week which is good overall but from here on there is no hope to add much significant. I predict life time Nett of De Dana Dan to wrap under 42 – 44 crore.

Radio Movie Review, Himesh Reshammiya, Shenaz Treasuryvala, Sonal Sehgal

Movie : Radio
Director: Ishaan Trivedi
Cast: Himesh Reshammiya, Shenaz Treasuryvala, Sonal Sehgal
Rating: 2 STAR

One can reasonably relate to Radio. Himesh plays a radio jockey who had a failed marriage and has subsequently lost faith in relationships. I play a victimized spectator having gone through Karz and Aap Ka Surroorr and have lost as much faith in Himesh Reshammiya as a hero.

So though Himesh attempts hard to force himself as an RJ on the viewer in a catch phrase that stresses aapka aapka aur sirf aapka (yours yours and only yours) Vivaan Shah, you still don’t feel a sense of belonging towards his character. Vivaan has had a failed marriage with Pooja (Sonal Sehgal) though there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong between the two. He is seemingly falling for another girl Shanaya (Shenaz Treasurywala) though there isn’t much chemistry between the two. You need not be a radiology scientist to guess that it’s a typical love triangle.

The problem with the film is that it tries too hard to be hep and cool but falters badly. Director Ishaan Trivedi attempts to take a modern-day look at relationships (ala Imtiaz Ali) to add that youthful feel to his film but fails to capture the right pulse. His screenplay pattern with the narrative opening in individual chapters appears too wannabe. He muddles up the most basic Bollywood geometry (triangular love story) to make it ‘complicated’. Even the dialogues seem to be written in absolute desperation with lines that go as ‘ agar samne wala pyaar nahi karey to baajuwale se pyaar karo, peechewale wale se pyaar karo, kisi se bhi pyaar karo .’

Himesh Reshammiya’s musical score is a redeeming factor though Subrat Sinha’a pedestrian lyrics do not add much value to the tunes. Cinematography by Attar Singh Saini comprises of too many close-up shots that disturb after a point.

Himesh Reshammiya lacks screen presence so much so that when he is pondering on a park bench, Neena Lalchandani overshadows him. Neena who, you ask? The inscribed name to whom the park bench is dedicated to. Honestly, Himesh isn’t bad but his act is excessively rehearsed. He sings on screen with the same intensity and (finger-pointing) gesture with which Sunny Deol warns his enemies. Shenaz Treasuryvala is charming but carries a constant smirk on her face, irrespective of the situation. Sonal Sehgal is passable. Rajesh Khattar makes a fool of himself. Paresh Rawal is absolutely annoying in his superfluous special appearance where he attempts to recreate the iconic radio character Ghanta Singh to disastrous outcome. He is both unprepared and uncomfortable in the role.

Radio isn’t much different from a Himesh Reshammiya music video – it has a heart-broken protagonist, it’s gloomy and has an overdose of music. If you are amongst those audacious audiences who buy Himesh’s music video DVDs, this film is certainly for you. Also if you are amongst the ones who have a hearty laugh on Himesh’s expense, this Radio is worth tuning in with friends.

For everyone else, take the title song seriously and ‘ Station koi naya, tune kar le zara ’. Tune in to something else.

Tiger Woods apology for "transgressions", Tiger Woods public confessions, Tiger Woods Website

Tiger Woods disclosed his "personal failings" in a 317-word statement on his Web site that did not delve into details, except to say that he "let my family down" and regrets it "with all of my heart."

Still to be determined is whether this closes a shocking saga involving one of the biggest names in sport.

"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.

Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect.

But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don't share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions.

Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult.

I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."

Padma Lakshmi Pregnant, Page Six Magazine Pics

Gazing sexily towards the camera, a pregnant Padma Lakshmi shows off her enviable silky smooth skin as she poses in little more than jewellery and a knowing smile.

But while she has absolutely no problem baring all for the camera, she is still keeping the identity of the baby's father very close to her chest.

The model and former wife of novelist Salman Rushdie stripped off for the latest cover of Page Six Magazine - modestly covering her baby bump - as speculation mounts over who the father of her first child is.

With the baby due in early spring, she opened up about gaining weight and life after her divorce, but still refused to drop any hints about the daddy.

Lakshmi, 39, who hosts US reality show Top Chef, said she is happy that she has gained some baby pounds.

In an interview with the magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow, she said: 'One of the reasons I think I've gained weight pretty quickly during my pregnancy is that I'm not exercising as much as I do normally... I can't. I'm feeling tired, and I have this business to run.
'You hope that with age, what you pay for in gravity, you gain in gravitas. I'm sure my thighs looked better when I was 25, but I think my mind is better today.'

But she admitted that she used to have to work hard in the gym to make sure she looked good for a photoshoot.

She said: 'You can eat and work out, or you can be the person who only eats a cucumber every day. I’d get really irritable if all I ate was a cucumber, so I have to work hard.'

Lakshmi married Rushdie in 2004 and admitted that she is still reassembling her life after they divorced in 2007.

Her main focus is the birth of her child and the launch of her new business ventures, including a jewellery line at New York department store Bergdorf Goodman and the American 24-hour shopping channel, Home Shopping Network.

She said: 'I [have been] reconstructing my life and putting it back together in a way that looked more appropriate to who I was. At this point in my career, I’m still growing. Jewels, spices and teas - I sound like Magellan.'

But she is still surprised that she gets recognised everywhere she goes - especially by children.

She added: 'I went to a bar mitzvah on the Upper East Side last year, and not to toot my own horn, but I might as well have been Michael Jackson to these 13-year-old boys and girls.

'There were something like 30 children around me, and they were all practically hyperventilating. I had this swarm of little kids going, "Oh, my god! Oh, my god!"

'Kids are so authentic, so pure, and they’d be telling me, "My sister and I had an amuse-bouche contest, and we need you to tell us who should have won." I think that’s really cool.'
Her pregnancy, which she announced at the beginning of October, was described by her doctor as 'nothing short of a medical miracle', after she struggled for years with endometriosis.

Lakshmi was discovered by a modelling agent at the age of 16 and said she was the 'first Indian model to have a career in Paris, Milan and New York'.

In the early Nineties, she turned her passions to food and wrote a number of best-selling cookery books before
taking over as host of Top Chef in 2006, for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award this year.

Poonam Dhillon Family Pictures

Poonam Dhillon was married to film producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988, with whom she has two children, son Anmol and daughter Paloma.

Poonam Dhillon Divorce, Poonam Dhillon Ex Husband Ashok Thakeria

Poonam Dhillon was married to a film producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988, with whom she has two children, son Anmol and daughter Paloma. The marriage ended in 1997.

Ashok Thakeria Biography

Ashok Thakeria, born in Tanzania (East Africa), graduated in the field of commerce, from the Bombay university. After sharpening his business skills at his family business of merchant exports, Ashok realized he was merely accentuating the business opportunities of an already established business, and as he set out

to creatively and effectively utilise his business acumen, in a green field business venture, he met Indra Kumar. Their friendship, which began as neighbours in 1972, transformed into professional partnership.

Ashok and Indra Kumar launched their film production company, "Maruti International", in 1983. Although Ashok had no background of the film industry, his creative urge drew him to the world of films. This creative urge had been fuelled by his frequent attendance in Indra Kumar's Gujarati films' story sittings, recordings, shootings, etc. His observant nature was gradually making him more and more informed, and knowledgeable, about the ways of the film world. He also realized that here, possibly, he had an opportunity to excel in the unpredictable field of filmmaking. Ashok and Indra started out with 'Mohabbat' (Director: Bapu, 1985) under their newly formed banner. A firm believer in destiny, Ashok puts the subsequent events in perspective, "By god's grace, we never looked back. With a lot of merited hard work and sincerity, we subsequently produced 'Kasam' (Director: Umesh Mehra, 1988), followed in quick succession by 'Dil' (Dir: Indra Kumar, 1990, a golden jubilee), 'Beta' (Dir: Indra Kumar, 1992,

another golden jubilee) and 'Raja' (Dir: Indra Kumar, 1995, and another golden jubilee). Each film was a bigger hit than the one before". Ashok maintains his stand very clearly "The medium of healthy commercial cinema has a definite purpose - ENTERTAINMENT. If our films can entertain us, I'm sure it will entertain my audience. I say so very affirmatively because we consider ourselves as very objective members of the audience, and can condition ourselves to think from the simplest to the most complex kind of audience reaction. Come what may, our audience should get good value for their money. They should leave the auditorium with a smile on their face and/or with a song on their lips, and conclude that the film was 'Paisa Vasool'. Therefore till the time we are not satisfied with our film, we don't release it". Ashok insists that just as the making of the film is of prime importance, the marketing is of equal or greater importance in today's competitive times. He believes in the simple idiom - To makes his films well, package them better and present in the best manner possible. As an extension of this core marketing philosophy, they also became part of the film distribution business for the Bombay film territory, when they, along with Mr. Bharat Shah, Mr. Subhash Ghai and Mr. Tolu Bajaj, formed Metro Films. Metro Films first release, 'Raja', was a runaway success, and since then, the company has not looked back and nor has it changed its main business plank – to release a film in the appropriate cinemas with proper advertising and promotional support. Summarising it up, Ashok says "Fate brought me into this ever-evolving, wonderful dream world. I shall forever remain a student of this great audio-visual medium and strive to excel in making better films in the future. Films excite me. The film industry provides me with creative and economic satisfaction. The least I can give the industry back is a solemn promise to give quality films. This will also ensure that my beloved audience keeps patronizing this medium, and keeps coming out of the auditorium, with complete satisfaction".

Shahid Kapoor Eight Packs Pics

Salman started it with “Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya”. Remember Aa Oo Janejana – where he flaunted his well toned muscular shirtless body? Shahrukh too joined the crowd in “Om Shanti Om” for Dard-e Disco. He looked super cool, or I should say super hot in his six-packs! Aamir and his Ghajini looks was the last thing to happen in six-pack abs world so far when Shahid Kapoor stepped in with his not six but eight-packs!

When most of the stars were going ahead with six-packs, Shahid decided to take two steps, or rather two packs ahead. He worked on eight-packs which he would show in his upcoming flick “Chance Pe Dance” that is all set to release on 15th January 2010. Credits to the trainer Abbas Ali who has helped Shahid to get those abs in very short time. Shahid is happy in his amazing looks with his ripping muscles in Ken Ghosh’s ‘Chance Pe Dance’.

Shahid has always been a health freak and kept on experimenting with his looks in each of his new films. He says, ““I’m inherently drawn to fitness. For me working out is a lifestyle”. He also said that he had a goal to work towards when Ken Ghosh asked him for an eight-pack for Chance Pe Dance. He practised five days a week.

He also worked hard on his diet. Since he is a pure vegetarian and doesn’t take eggs, first class protein, was lacking. Brown carbohydrate like brown rice, sweet potato, and oats were added in his diet and white carbohydrate like white potatoes and pasta were stroked off.

While the heat for eight packs is on, Shahid advises to eat healthy and stay fit than trying to flaunt a dream body with abs. He says that maintaining a six-pack or eight-pack is hard because the sacrifices needed for that is immense. It’s better to follow a regular fitness regime and to make sure to stay in shape.

Aamir apologised Shahrukh's children

It seemed that all had settled down between film industry's biggest superstars Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. In a recent TV chat show Aamir had apologised to Shahrukh Khan for writing a blog where he had mentioned that he had a pet dog called Shahrukh. Many in the industry had felt that Aamir was done with the rivalry and had extended an olive branch to SRK. But the 3 Idiots stars might not have meant what was understood by most in the tinsel town.

Aamir who was attending the release of a coffee table book on Guru Dutt said that he hasn't apologised to Shahrukh and he sees no reason to do so. Aamir added that he had apologised Shahrukh's children as they felt hurt reading his blog more than a year ago. He said that he was upset to hear that Shahrukh's children were unhappy with what her wrote and he had no intention of hurting them. He also said that he had stopped calling his dog by that name.

Incidentally Shahrukh's closest ally Karan Johar was sharing a genuine camaraderie with Aamir when the Ghajini star made these clarifications. Also present on the occasion was Katrina Kaif who might soon be seen in a movie with Aamir based on the real life story of Bollywood legends Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman. The event was hosted by liquor baron Vijay Malya who is Shahrukh Khan's arch rival when it comes to the IPL.

A potent combo of looks, charm and total candour outlines this bubbly young woman. And when she features on Diva direct, get set for some candid confessions. Unveiling the one and only Shenaz Treasurywala…

It is difficult for me because I cannot leave my emotions and feelings out when having sex but I have female friends who can handle it and walk away feeling invigorated and powerful. Kudos to them. No judgement ever, if you can handle it, do it as long as both parties are clear and not hurt at the end of it. To each his own. Unfortunately for me I fall in love with the person I am intimately and physically involved with and thats why for me it would prove to be extremely dangerous.

Is your father a thief? He stole the stars from the sky and put them in your eyes. Eeeeew! Know how many times different guys have used that same line on me and all my girlfriends. Boys be original. We like smart, funny, creative men who do not have to resort to cheesy pick up lines. Oh ya, here's another- Have you lost weight? Cause you've been running through my mind. Uggggh!
I simply say something silly back like- No you cant have my number cause I've lost my phone or excuse me I need to throw up I ate too much or sorry I farted or I got Syphilis or Aids...both :) hahaa ....Sometimes even that doesn't make them run.

Have been on a couple and they were big disasters. They are embarrassing and awkward and I'd rather just stay in bed by myself with a good film and some chocolate cake.

Hmm, thats a tough one. I'm not against asking a man out, I'm unfortunately just too shy. I need the man to do it. I'll bat my eyelashes and throw him a flirty smile but leave it to him to ask me out.

Put a fart machine in my skirt while interviewing the band 'Blue'. Throughout the interview I kept farting, poor things they didn't know what to do. Was quite hilarious. I've also run after men in a wedding gown asking why they didn't show up at the altar. I'm the biggest prankster.
